Great Customer service

This morning while doing a little web-exploration I stumbled across a very cool guy on Twitter. His name is Nate St. Pierre. Naturally, I went and checked out his site (it’s what I do..) The first line on his about page says: “My name is Nate, and I want to change the world.”

I really like this line. However, this post is not about Nate, as cool as he is… It is about a Fast Food Company.

It’s about a message created by this fast food company, and I have to thank Nate for this discovery.

The company is Chick-fil-A. You see, they created a very compelling video, that I am guessing was actually created as a training tool for their employees. The message is clear – don’t assume you know everything about your customers, don’t assume that they are all the same. Their philosophy:

Let this video serve as a reminder that their are so many amazing stories hidden within the people we serve every day. Customer service is an art. Great customer service is more like a dance – an exquisite interaction between 2 people where, when it is over, both parties are exited with the results!
