The Fifth Golden Key to Building a Multimillion Dollar Empire

Are you an entrepreneur that has started a business? Do you want your business to not only make a profit, but become a multimillion dollar empire? Do you have the drive and passion to push your business to the number one spot and make millions? If so, then you need to understand and implement the seven golden keys to building a multimillion dollar empire.

This article describes the fifth golden key to building a multimillion dollar empire and why you should apply it to your business. This information is the nuts and bolts you need to focus on. Take a hard look at your business to make absolutely certain that you are implementing this golden key.

Golden Key #5: “Focus on Leads, Lead Generation, and Profit Generation.” Leads are the oxygen to your business. Leads bring in new business, profits, and promote repeat business. Leads are the heart and soul of your business operation. Therefore, you need to target in on your lead and profit generation systems to build a multimillion dollar empire.

How should you implement a lead generation system? Lead generation systems are composed of several different sources of leads. For example, you can gain leads from web articles that provide pertinent information to potential customers and prompt them to go to your website. You can advertise directly on the Internet using Google Adwords. This can create leads.

Another option is to participate in a joint venture. A joint venture enables you to partner with a business that has a complementary product or service. You can swap your customer lists thus increasing the number of leads for your business.

Creating a powerful squeeze page for your website can also snag quality leads that you desire. Quality leads are those that more often yield in a purchase and repeat purchases. Repeat business can bring a substantial amount of your profit. Therefore, it is a good idea to maintain a business relationship with customers so you can market to them over and over. In return they will, hopefully, buy your products and services over and over.

Leads can also be generated through referral. Encourage customers to refer your website, product, and service to their friends and colleagues. Offer incentives such as coupons and free bonus reports that will increase the amount of quality leads.

Profit generation is based on your lead generation, business and marketing models. Isn’t profit the major reason why you started your own Internet business in the first place? Therefore, focus on leads, lead generation, and profit generation to bring you one giant step closer to a multimillion dollar empire.

Common Steps in Website Creation

Published by Lennie Appelquist under Web Design

  1. Content is King. The most important thing to remember about popular web sites is that they are always rich in content. This serves multiple functions. It gives your visitors useful information and probably more importantly, gives the search engines relevent content which greatly helps your ranking.
  2. Stick to your subject. Don’t try to be all things to all people. Keep your goal in mind. Get over the temptation to put as many bells and whistles as you can on a page. The purpose of designing a site carefully is not to make it look cool, or win awards. It’s to accomplish the intended goal of the site. To “sell your service or products. Afterall we are talking about business here.
  3. You only get one chance to make a first impression. Think about the message you are sending to your customer. The first page of your web site should be a concise description of the website. Don’t make this page too busy - entice visitors to dig deeper into your site through the use of inviting text and interesting graphics. The purpose of this page is to capture your customer and their attention. If you are serious about your business, buy your own domain name and don’t use a “free” hosting service.
  4. Design sites, not pages. Your primary concern should be the site’s overall design. When starting to design a new site from scratch, you should try to create a design that will make sense to users, has a consistent look and feel, and is not to difficult to extend in the future. The consistency of design of a site is one of the factors that differentiates amateur sites from professional ones.
  5. Make it easy to get around your site. As Stephen Covey says, “begin with the end in mind.” Your customer should be able to easily navigate to any page in your web from any page in your page. It’s important to link in a consistent, well thought out manner that users can learn to navigate. Have clear links to your pages and, if are selling a product, make it easy for people to buy it! Invite customers to contact you with their questions or comments. This is a great way to capture their information. Add links to other sites only when necessary, or on a special links page at the end of your site. You want visitors to go through your site before surfing off to another!
  6. Make sure your site is functional in all browsers and platforms. You want to get as many visitors to enjoy their visit.
  7. Don’t forget to tell the world about your new site. Make sure that your URL is on all your company business cards, letter heads, brochures, phone systems, etc. Swap links with other related web sites. List your site with the major search engines.
  8. Keep your site current. Come up with a reason for people to visit and revisit your pages and recommend them to their friends. Blogging is perhaps the most effective way to do this.
  9. Use an autoresponder. Entice visitors with a newsletter or free gifts to join your list. You will find that capturing customer’s (or potential customer’s) information is the most important step in creating a successful website.

The Fourth Golden Key to Building a Multimillion Dollar Empire

Are you an entrepreneur that has started a business? Do you want your business to not only make a profit, but become a multimillion dollar empire? Do you have the drive and passion to push your business to the number one spot and make millions? If so, then you need to understand and implement the seven golden keys to building a multimillion dollar empire.

This article describes the fourth golden key to building a multimillion dollar empire and why you should apply it to your business. This information is the nuts and bolts you need to focus on. Take a hard look at your business to make absolutely certain that you are implementing this golden key.

Golden Key #4: “Be a Marketer.” Marketing is vital to the success of your business. How can you have any business orders if customers don’t know about your product? You can’t sit back and hope that customers will stumble across your website and purchase your product. You need to be aggressive, proactive, and market your product or service as much as possible. Customers need to not only know that your product exists, but how awesome the product is and why they should buy it.

How should you market your product or service? First, research and analyze how successful companies have marketed products and services that are similar to your business. What types of marketing interested you? What types of marketing did not grab your attention or even turn you off? You need to observe these marketing techniques from successful businesses and apply them to your business.

Where should you market your product or service? The most effective way to market your product is to advertise it on television through commercials or infomercials. You can also create radio spots. These types of marketing options are effective, but they are very costly. Too costly for most Internet based businesses. Therefore, your best marketing avenue is to use the Internet. The Internet is extremely cheap and quick as far as marketing options are concerned. Use many different marketing methods via the Internet. For example, you can send auto responders, write web articles, and participate in joint ventures.

A major fallacy about marketing is that a superior product will always win out despite marketing efforts from the sub par product. This is far from the truth. Often it is not the most superior product or service that is more successful, but the product or service that has the most effective and aggressive marketing plan. Therefore, following the fourth golden key to building a multimillion dollar empire is not an option, but a necessity.
